At PipesandCigars we use a delayed capture feature on all transactions.

In most cases you will see two entries on your credit card. The 1st is only an authorization. This is done during checkout to verify the funds are currently available on the credit card used. This stops anyone who places an order from checking out without enough credit available to complete the transaction. This is only an authorization which puts a hold on those funds for 72hrs giving us time to ship your package and collect the funds. Once we ship and collect (capture) the funds the transaction is complete and the authorization is no longer valid.

If you choose PayPal as your payment method, please note that the entire amount of your order, including any possible backordered item will be charged to your account. Backorders will ship as soon as inventory is replenished. If you change your mind about waiting for the backorder, contact us and we will refund your PayPal account for the backorder amount. Substitutions are always possible and we will work to find replacement product that satisfy your needs.
