If you're familiar with Dan Tobacco's Blue Note, you'll likely find Devil's Holiday to be a lighter tobacco. It's darker than Blue Note, being about 85% brownish-black Cavendish, so it's not surprising that it's so dark. The tin aroma is less subtle than Blue Note, yet there is a sweetness that is prevalent. About 10 to 15% of the blend consists of thin threads of golden Virginia that deliver an opposing taste and aroma that's quite noticeable and pops up occasionally throughout the smoke. The room note has a definite sweet aroma. Since I don't really smoke many aromatic mixtures, this was not my "cup of tea". However, if you like a mild fruit flavor, it's not bad. Blue Note is much more defined fruit-flavor, if that's what you like.

One of the best aromatic blends I have ever had the pleasure to smoke.A real crowd pleaser when smoked in public.I experienced no bite which is surprising for such a heavily cased Tobacco.WARNING - Will heavily ghost anything you put it in,so dedicate a large bowled bent pipe just for this blend.May make your pipe gurgle like a hookah but it's worth it.
