Dunhill Flake (50g tin)

Very Virginia. So Sweet. I like it. Real good.

A must for all you flake smokers. Cool,long lasting mellow smoke,yet strong enough to be very satisfying. Just a pure VA smoke. Like Peterson's Irish Flake without the kick in the pants nicotine hit. Which is good now and again.

Room note is mild and pleasant. Well, at least my wife don't walk around with her sweater held up to her nose with this one.

Over all, a perfectly balanced tobacco from Dunhill.

A fine elegant flake. Beautiful presntation in the tin, elegant aroma, a bit of a single note as far as flavor goes, but it's a fine note.

Definitely an A list tobacco. I prepare one half of a flake for the type of pipe I want to enjoy. For a 3/4 by 1 1/4 or so deep bowl, I fold the half flake twice against the grain and stuff into the pipe with the grain parallel to the rim. For wider bowls I'll start the same but rub it between my palms to make a ball to stuff into the pipe. The charring light is a bit harsh, but the next light tones down to a crisp, smooth, and sweet smoke. If they fuel the fires of hell with this one I'll be in heaven!

A good Tobacco from Dunhill that is always in my rotation.

This is one of my favorite blends, it has a light tea like sweetness and hints of lemon, in a way it reminds me of a nice glass of iced tea with a wedge of lemon, good stuff!

Literally the most pleasant flake that I have ever sampled. The flavours and aromas are more balanced than a tight-rope walker.

I would love to see a ready-rubbed version...

This is a mild to moderate flavorable tobacco. The blend has subtle flavors throughout the smoke. It is an excellent choice.

Dunhil is my favorite brand, and this is my top of the line pure Va. blend
Smells nice and lasts, packs easily, no bite if properly stuffed, a dandy in Va blends!
I never give a 5 stars, is like school teachers do, not always a 10 grade!
There must be more work to do, in this blend, more flavor

Very tasty indeed. A cool and steady burning smoke.
Really, the only drawback is its price.
