McClelland Bulk No. 2015 Virginia Flake and Perique (by the ounce)

This blend is simply great in all respects: great mix of quality tobacco's, great presentation, great aroma, easy to light, great flavor, no bite, great all day smoke. Great price: get some!

Very pleasurable smoke.Tangy ketchup smell with a slight hint of spice in the bag.Good slightly sweet mcclelland virginias with the perique showing just enough flavor/spice to compliment the virginias.Not easy to rub out and not easy to keep lit.Perhaps due to my amateur pipe skills.

Signature McClelland ketchup smell! No matter... "Once lit" is my critical starting point. Stuff smokes beautifully! Not quite as sweet as I would like but rather punctuated by subtle sweetness. The red V's are of the best quality... Perique a bit more muted than I like. I like my VaPer blends to starting biting a bit harder toward the heel of the cob. Try it however! Well worth it for the price... Can't wait to get my mots on some bulk Saint James Flake!

This has been my mainstay for quite a while now. Sipped slowly, it's sweet and slow burning, perique is there, but not overwhelming in any way. Great tobacco at a reasonable price.

Being a lover of FVF and always looking to add a VAPer into the rotation. This one will give you a very pleasant addition to your rotation. Watch the rub, just a light one to enjoy the full flavors that develop. Drying is important even though it comes in as "out of the jar" smoke. Let it rest so you enjoy the clean finish. This does have a vitamin V hit, so expect that.

Balanced flavors, smooth burning. My daily smoke. Sold at the fairest price I can find. Also excellent service.

This is my daily smoke and has been for years. It has a lot of natural sweetness, and the funky, fruitiness of the Perique overlays the rich Virginia taste perfectly. It works well in any size pipe but is best in larger bowls with thick walls.

An excellent blend that is soft on the tongue and gentle on the nose. It burns slowly and leaves no harsh tones to spoil the experience. The perfect choice for the experienced pipe smoker.

Just started smoking flakes. Smokes cool. Nutty flavor after lighting and quite sweet towards the bottom of the bowl. Light on Perique. Great Flavor!
