Santa Rosa cigars are a long standing brand that was reintroduced to the market a few years ago by Altadis. As with the original, they are made in Honduras with either an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper or Broadleaf for the maduros. These are mild-medium cigars with a toasty, nutty flavor with a leathery note to the Shade version, and an earthy coffee layer to the maduro. Good construction and flavor with a very reasonable price.
