Seattle Pipe Club Plum Pudding (8oz tin)

Got a sample of this yesterday and I am hooked! Very rich and smokey. Even after I smoked a bowl of this, I found it left an after taste which was excellent. Will be buying more of this soon. SPC has done it again!

This is very nice tobacco. Has a rich burnt or BBQ smell out of the can and leaves a salty after taste when smoked. If smoked slowly it leaves a greasy film on the lips that reminds me of the grease you get with BBQ lamb, but without a lamb taste. As others have found, this tobacco is spicy, bitter and even sometimes sweet. I found the tobacco smokes best after its been rubbed out and given a moment to dry. Great evening smoke in a large bowl when you have plenty of time to think and enjoy.

I buy this tobacco in the big 8 ounce tins because it is so good and frankly, a bit addictive. It has the richest, smokiest and sweetest flavor of any tobacco I have ever smoked. I am also a big fan of McClellands Blue Mountain if that helps.

The best description I can think of for the flavor of this blend is a slightly spiced, very lightly salted piece of leather with just a hint of cream cheese icing. The smokiness with a touch of creaminess makes a very tasteful blend that won't disappoint.

I'm kinda new to pipe smoking. I've tried many different types of pipe tobacco,but this one for me is one to have on hand at all times. The first bowl I smoked was heaven. I could not put the pipe down. I just hope they keep producing this blend for many years to come. Keep up the good work.
