Well balances, easy burning smoke. It had complexity in its flavoring and kept you guessing throughout the bowl in a good way. Only getting 4/5 because I love its brother Mississippi river more.
5 Star Blend

This blend belongs in the Hall of Fame as far as I am concerned. Very rich, satisfying flavor that I never fail to enjoy. Joe Lankford is a genius.

This is like a super version of Miss. R., rich, spicy, full flavored, and mellow. It starts out smooth and complex, and as it burns down the flavors get richer and deeper. When I reach the bottom, I find myself saying, "WOW!"
Top Shelf Blend!

Clouds of delicious smoke from this unique blend! Enough spice notes to keep it interesting, interplaying with a subtle sweetness and an overall "rich" taste. Very impressed, and working through a bag of it in different pipes hasn't diluted the fine full creamy richness of this blend so far. Definately will put some away for aging.
The real winner!

I must sing the praises of Plum Pudding once again. Just tried the award winning Blackhouse by H&H and Blue Mountain by McClelland. IMHO Plum Pudding is by far the real winner in this group!
Nothing but Good!

This has become my everyday pipe tobacco and is my favorite of the three SPC blends. It has a spicy sweet smoothness that is nothing but good. A delicious smoke!
Thw Holy Grail Of Pipe Tobacco

This tobacco has it all. A good mix of tobacco pressed together. Its smokey, spicy, rich, and a wee bit of sweetness. A full body smoke and flavor. It's the Holy Grail in my book!!
