Yello Bole pipes are either made of either imported Italian briar or a synthetic material called Brylon. This material was developed by S.M.Frank in the mid 60's as a cheaper, more durable alternative to briar. All Yello Boles feature push bits with an aluminum scoop to help trap flakes and tars in the shank. This scoop is removeable if desired.
