How does the Autoship program work and is there a fee?
Pipes and Cigars Autoship is an easy way to set up repeat deliveries and save on items you buy regularly. Not only is the Autoship program convenient, but it also offers 5% savings on every single order and there is no additional expense to participate. To start your Autoship, shop for your favorite pipe tobaccos and accessories, select your delivery frequency (2, 4, 6, 8 weeks), and add the items to your cart. Complete checkout as you normally would and we will take it from there! We'll send you an email confirming your initial order has shipped and when your next delivery is scheduled to ship we will even send a reminder in case you'd like to add a few items to your order. After you've set up an Autoship subscription you can manage your upcoming orders in your Pipes and Cigars 'My Account' section.
What types of products are available for Autoship?
Currently we offer an array of popular pipe tobaccos and accessories in our auto-ship program. You'll find items from top brands like Captain Black, Decatur, Hearth & Home, John Cotton's, Lane Limited, Peterson and much more. In addition to subscribing to receiving these products on a routine basis, we also offer the convenient benefit of adding many items to upcoming subscription shipments as a one-time purchase. For example, your favorite pipe tobacco is set up to ship in the next week and you just remembered you need some pipe cleaners... no worries just add them to your pipe tobacco order and we will deliver everything together. This can be done by simply going to the pipe cleaner product on the website and selecting the "Add to Upcoming Order" button. You will then see these items added to your next subscription order in your 'My Account' section under Subscriptions.
What happens if the items I routinely purchase aren't available for Autoship?
Don't see your go-to products available in the auto-ship program? No worries, simply reach out to our customer service team via phone or email to request your products be added. We will do our best to fulfill all requests, however at times some restrictions do apply..
Can I change my payment method, billing and shipping addresses?
Changing your account information is easy! You may update information like your subscription payment type, billing address on your payment type and the address you'd like to have your items shipped to all within your 'My Account' section. Please Note: If you update your billing card in your account, all subscription orders will be charged to the payment type you have listed as 'default' in your account. And as a reminder we do have shipping restrictions on several products to certain states. This means if you change your shipping to a restricted state in your account the order will not ship until a valid shipping address is provided.
How do I pause, skip or change the date of my subscription order?
Making these types of changes are very easy, all of this can be managed in your 'My Account' section. Simply go to My Account > Subscriptions, here you can view all active and inactive subscriptions. Each active subscription displays several action buttons: Change Date, Ship Now and Skip Order.
Change Date - click this button and a calendar pop-up will appear, choose a new date and click 'confirm date'
Ship Now - click this button then click the 'send now' button to confim you'd like to have this order placed immediately
Skip Order - click this button and a pop-up box will appear asking you to confirm you want to skip this order then click the 'confirm' button and this order will be skipped with the next order shipping based on your selected cadence
Can I cancel my Autoship at any time?
The Pipes & Cigars Auto-Ship program is designed as a convenience to our P&C Faithful! For that reason, you may cancel your subscription at any time in your account. Remember, we also offer the ability to 'skip' your next order or 'change date' on your next order should you find yourself heavily stocked on your favorite products.
