But AJ is wise enough to know that there are plenty of people out there who prefer their cigars a bit smoother and creamier, so following on the heels of his success is the just-as-amazing AJ Fernandez New World Connecticut.
This isn't your everyday Connecticut Shade cigar. It begins with a genuine U.S. Connecticut shade-grown wrapper, but then it takes a departure. The binder hails from the San Andres Valley, and the long-fillers are a combination of leaf from Nicaragua and Brazil. These cigars, unlike the original New World, aren't box-pressed, and they fall on the mellow side of medium-bodied, highlighted by sweet wood and leather, a hint of cocoa and a bit of spice for beautiful balance. If you're tired of power bombs but like flavor, this is a must-try.
