A great dessert cigar. Insidious Maduro by Asylum takes a solid medium-bodied maduro cigar and makes it even more pleasant by adding a sweet cap. The wrapper is a dark San Andres Marron laid over the top of the same Honduran binder and long-filler combination of the original Insidious. The flavor has notes of coffee and cocoa, with modest, sweet spices and the cap lends itself to create a mocha-like taste. Besides being tasty and very well constructed, this is an eminently affordable premium hand-rolled. This one is sure to be a hit among the P&C Faithful.

great daily or gift

really love this one and it dont get enough push . fantastic flavor profile and hard to find but truly a great cigar. mild maduro flavor and nice consistent burn. a favorite daily of mine and great one to share with a friend or lil gift i got hooked based on a friend gifting me one 3 years ago

Rotation worthy

An absolute pleasure! I haven't met an Asylum that I didn't like, they are some of my go-tos! The Insidious Maduro is no different! There's notes of coffee, cocoa, wood and a slight creaminess coupled with the sweetened tip. more laid back than some of the other cigars in their portfolio - which is a good thing. Sometimes you want a mellow cigar. The Insidious fits the bill. It burns super well and needed minimal touch ups, the sweetened tip isn't too sweet. It's overall a good value and definitely worth keeping in the rotation for those days when you don't need a huge power-bomb of flavor and strength. Read Less

Good cigar, mild flavor with

Good cigar, mild flavor with a sweet wrapper. The burn seemed a little fast making firca shorter smoke but doesn't take away from the experience. Shipping was timely and arrived fresh. Over I would recommend the Insidious Maduro.
