Bengal Slices Barrel Aged
Last year, the folks behind Bengal Slices wanted to make something totally different for a limited edition, so they took a medium-bodied Latakia blend with a touch of black Cavendish and laid it down in a whiskey barrel, but not just any whiskey barrel. That oak cask started off as a charred Bourbon barrel, and when it was decanted, it was sold to an American company that made a single malt whiskey, so this barrel contains essences of a scotch-like blend along with the ghost of Bourbon. After a month-long nap, the tobacco was moved to presses to make a crumble cake. This is a remarkably tasty and somewhat smoky tobacco that will captivate your senses. Get yourself a few because they won't last long.
