Keep it simple…

My perfect go to non aromatic. Everything I love nothing I don’t want. Some English or non aromatics get loaded up with too much. Sometimes MORE is not better. I do not like everything bagels and I do not like everything smokes.

My understanding is that what separates an English from a Balkan is that Englishes are Latakia forward, whereas Balkans are Oriental forward. That distinction works for me. Balkan rocks!

Byzantium is wonderful. It smells very similar to Hearth & Home's Black House, which quickly hooked me. The Balkan style blend is my favorite blend so far, and then Black Cavendish.

Great Pick

Strong twangy smoke. I am not the most seasoned smoker but I've smoked enough to know this has more character than most other English style blends. Well worth the money and the experience.

This is a truly wonderful blend, especially if you are a fan of Latakia, Oriental and Perique. Those are the only tobaccos in this blend and the balance if fantastic.
