Crowned Heads Four Kicks Maduro
Back in 2010, former CAO employees started a new cigar company. Their first entry was called Four Kicks, and quickly established their brand as a force to be reckoned with. Now, Jon Huber and company have once again teamed up with Ernesto Perez-Carrillo to create a worthy successor to their initial blend - Crowned Heads Four Kicks Maduro .
The wrapper on Crowned Heads Four Kicks Maduro is unique. It's grown in Connecticut, but it's not shade-grown or Broadleaf. Instead, this is a type of Habano leaf that has been extra-fermented to develop a darker color and deeper flavor. This gorgeous, dark capa surrounds a binder from Nicaragua, with Nicaraguan long-fillers in the core. The result is a medium-bodied cigar with rich notes of cocoa, toast, nuts, and wood, with a pleasant mellow spice. If you enjoyed the original Four Kicks, you're going to love this cigar.
