Crowned Heads Four Kicks
Four Kicks was the first cigar brought to market by Crowned Heads, and what a great way to start. This company has a rebellious, think-outside-the-box attitude, so it's not surprising to see them bucking the trends.
While everyone seems to either be making full-bodied powerhouses or mellow and smooth cigars, this is an extraordinarily complex medium-bodied stick that can be enjoyed by just about any enthusiast. Who did Crowned Heads turn to when it came time to make this gem? None other than Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, who knows a thing or two about unconventional thinking when it comes to cigars. A chestnut-colored Ecuadorian Habano wrapper greets you and conceals a Nicaraguan binder and filler combination. An overall earthy character is supported by notes of cedar, leather, roasted nuts and black pepper with an inherent creaminess.
This first entry announced the presence of Crowned Heads by garnering a 91-rating. Not too shabby for an initial release, huh?
