A 'norteno' is the term that Nicaraguans use to refer to residents of Esteli, becaause they consider them "northerners". This full-flavored, full-bodied jewel has so many layers of goodness that you'll be tempted to light them up back-to-back. The wrapper is a gorgeous San Andres Maduro, just teeming with oils, and just below is a specially selected Honduran binder. A combination of fillers from Jalapa and Esteli, both known for robust tobaccos, complete the package, and the results are spectacular. Espresso, dark chocolate and roasted nuts are at the forefront with a peppery backbone. We're sure you'll enjoy these box-pressed beauties,. Just be careful not to burn your fingers.
