The majority of the tobaccos in La Herencia Cubana CORE are ligeros, including the silky, dark Ecuadorian Habano sun-grown wrapper. The binder is also Habano, but this one coming from Nicaragua. The long-fillers include tobaccos from Nicaragua, Honduras and the US. Upon first light, two things become apparent - lush, creamy smoke and a healthy dose of spice. There are also notes of earth, cocoa, oak and toast, but a pepperiness lingers throughout the long, luxurious experience. This is a cigar to be savored when the time is right, as it will grab your attention and won't let go.
