Leaf by Oscar Connecticut
This is a case where appearances really are deceiving. Leaf by Oscar Connecticut, at first glance, seem to be pretty ugly cigars. The reason is, rather than using cellophane to protect the cigars, they use a tobacco leaf to guard against damage in the bundle. What you have underneath is a beautiful and tasty mellow to medium-bodied cigar clad in a golden Honduran-grown Connecticut Shade wrapper. The binder and long-fillers also hail from Honduras, giving the cigar a bit more body than you would come to expect from a Shade wrapper.
Blended by Oscar Valladares, Leaf by Oscar Connecticut has notes of leather, cedar, sweet tobacco, and cream, with just a touch of subtle spice. Don't judge a book by its cover and give these a try.
