Macanudo Gold is a special version of Macanudo that's only released once a year. What makes this cigar so much different than Macanudo Cafe is the wrapper. Only first and second priming caps from Macanudo's proprietary US Connecticut Shade crop are used. These especially thin, delicate leavers are extremely supple and silky.
A collection of specially selected Dominican and Mexican Cuban seed long-fillers sit at the core, and the cigar is finished with that beautiful, blonde wrapper. Even though Macanudo Gold is an exceptionally mellow entry, there's plenty of flavors here. Leather, wood, nuts, and a hint of coffee are joined with tame spices and a bit of white pepper. A sweet, citrusy finish lets you know that this is no ordinary cigar.
