Rocky Patel Number 6
Rocky Patel has made so many different cigars over the years that he's starting to run out of ideas for names. With Rocky Patel Number 6, it comes from the fact that he had a bunch of different blends made for this project and his favorite was the one labeled number six. I'm really glad that he chose this one because it's pretty unique and is the kind of cigar you can smoke any time of day.
It starts with a silky Honduran-grown Corojo leaf which is wound around a core of Honduran and Nicaraguan long-fillers, held in place by a Honduran binder. The result is a medium-bodied cigar with a natural sweetness. Espresso and bready notes take the lead with an earthiness close behind. As a finishing touch, hints of vanilla and honey come through. The spice is rather mellow and really complements the rest of the flavor notes. Put you money on (Rocky Patel) Number 6.
