Seattle Pipe Club Plum Pudding Bourbon Barrel Aged
What a difference a month makes.
When we heard that they were going to age some Seattle Pipe Club Plum Pudding in a Bourbon barrel, we just had to check it out. We got a chance to see the tobacco not long after it had been put in the barrel, We were told that the barrel had only been emptied of its boozy cargo two weeks prior, so the aroma of Bourbon was intense. After a month-long nap, the tobacco was pressed into the familiar crumble cake format, and in a nod to other well-known infused blends, a chunk of one of the staves from the barrel is included. Although the scent of Bourbon is very noticeable, it melds well with the tobacco so that you get a burst of the flavor at first light and then it moves into the background, but is always present. Fans of the original are going to want to pick up some Seattle Pipe Club Plum Pudding Bourbon Barrel Aged,
