Stanwell Pipe of the Year 2024
Every year, Stanwell fans look forward to the Pipe of the Year, and the Stanwell Pipe of the Year 2024 is unique in many ways. Read on for all the details.
For this year, rather than developing an all-new shape or resurrecting an older design, Stanwell has taken the 1960s vintage shape 39, a Dublin/Acorn with a shank that meets above the pointed heel, but they've made the bend less deep than the original, changed the stem to a tortoiseshell acrylic saddle bit, and the classic Stanwell Sterling Silver band. These beautiful briars come in six finishes - Flame Grain, Light Smooth, Dark Smooth, Black Matte, Antiqued Tan Sandblast. and a Black Sandblast with Red Smooth Rim.
Also new for 2024, all Stanwell Pipes of the Year come packaged in handsome two-piece tubes with a sticker displaying the shape of this year's pipe.
