Sutliff Stoved Black Virginia 507-S
A lot of the P&C Faithful loved McClelland's 5105 Stoved Black Virginia and are now disappointed that they won't be able to get it anymore. Well, we have an answer to the dilemma. Our friends at Sutliff Tobacco Company have introduced Sutliff Stoved Black Virginia 507-S.
This tobacco starts out as bright Virginia that is slowly heated over time until it turns a rich black. This isn't a process that can be rushed, as too much heat applied too soon could result in charred flavors. The sugars in the leaf caramelize, so Sutliff Stoved Black Virginia 507-S has a bit more concentrated sweetness. Although it certainly can be an enjoyable smoke on its own, this blackened Virginia makes a wonderful blending component.
