Wood Bat Shaped Tool
These two pipe tools have a tapered "bat" shape with a stainless steel core and either an ebony or red-stained wood cladding on the sides. They have a tamper on the narrow end and a pick and a scraper blade that swing out from the sides. Both are slim enough to not take up a lot of pocket space, but have enough heft to make tamping as simple as dropping the tamper head on the tobacco. Not only are these tools really attractive and utilitarian, they're also a tremendous value for under $10 each.
