Starting out in 1947 in a little artisan shop, Carlo Scotti created the Castello pipe aimed to have the highest quality in technicality and aesthetics. Creating such high-quality pipes meant working with exclusively the best of the best briar, and working with shops only of the highest professional reputation once the briar is crafted into a pipe. Today Castello produces about 3,500 pipes a year delivering what Carlo Scotti set out to do 50 years ago. Collected and sought-after all over the world, Castello pipes are all made by hand by craftsman who produce beautifully shaped, finished, and top-notch pipes. Castello pipes are available in smooth finishes in a variety of colors along with the rusticated and sandblast finishes.
