Newminster for the win.

So after several bowls of each of these flake tobaccos I have come to prefer the Newminster Navy Flake over the Luxury Twist Flake. The Luxury twist has a topping that just hits me wrong compared to the Navy Flake which I detect no flavoring. I much preferred the natural tobacco flavor of the Newminster #400 Navy Flake.

Counterpunch

Neminster Luxury Navy Flake has a delightful taste very enjoyable not harsh (my favorite out of the two); Peter Stokkebye Luxury Twist Flake is for the individual that enjoys a bit stronger smoke, it is enjoyable, just take your time with it.

Both are great navy flake

Both of these flake blends are great, I like the navy flake more then the lux navy flake but they are both great smokes

Two flakes

I have smoked both flakes a few times. While both are excellent in their own right, I would put my money on the Stokkebye in comparison with the Newminster. I found the Newminster lacking in character and depth. True the Virginia tastes great, but in my opinion it lacks the depth and warmth I found in Stokkebeye.
The stokkebbye is the winner
